A volta e a nova ordem do New Order

Aconteceu ontem na Bélgica a celebrada volta do New Order, banda cult eterna que toca dia 3 de dezembro em São Paulo, no Ultra Music Festival. A famosa veterana banda de Manchester, continuação dance do Joy Division sem o Ian Curtis, retornou aos palcos agora sem o baixista fanfarrão Peter Hook, que está em pé-de-guerra com seus ex-amigos.

 

 

Para compensar, o New Order teve de volta, pela primeira vez em dez anos, a tecladista Gillian Gilbert. O show, ontem no Ancienne Belgique, em Bruxelas, teve 15 músicas e fechou com a trinca espetacular ''Temptation'', ''Blue Monday'' e ''Love Will Tear Us Apart'', do Joy Division. A banda toca hoje no Bataclan, em Paris. Ambos os shows foram beneficentes.

Os pôsteres dos shows de Bruxelas e de Paris são assinados pelo artista Peter Saville, que trabalhou nos anos 70/80 na lendária gravadora Factory e fez reconhecidas capas de ambos Joy Division e New Order. Os posteres tambem estao a venda por razões de ajuda a um amigo do grupo, com uma doença rara (o diretor de filmes e vídeos Michael Shamberg). Os cartazes são inspirados na capa do álbum coletânea ''Substance'', de 1987.
