Neil Young e o rock para as criancinhas: estrelando Beck, Eddie Vedder, Arcade Fire e Foo Fighters

* Neste final de semana foi celebrada na Califórnia a 25ª edição do concerto beneficente para a Bridge School, escola de Mountain View que assiste crianças com problemas sérios de comunicação. O patrono da escola, o roqueiro Neil Young, organiza o evento desde 1986 junto com sua mulher, Pegi. De Bruce Springsteen a Metallica, de Sonic Youth a David Bowie, um monte de banda tem dado uma força na arrecadação anual de dinheiro para ajudar os meninos necessitados da Bridge School, com mini-shows acústicos ou quase-acústicos.

* Neste ano, Beck, Tony Bennett, Foo Fighters, Eddie Vedder, Norah Jones, Mumford & Sons, entre outros, participaram tocando para o Neil Young, algumas bandas os dois dias.

* Abaixo tem o Beck e o Neil Young cantando juntos, Eddie Vedder cantando Beatles e um mini-show INTEIRO do Arcade Fire. Vídeos da performance acústica do Foo Fighters ainda não apareceram, mas deve surgir ao longo do dia. Daí a gente bota aqui.
