Agora vai virar esta semana no SEGUNDO lugar do single chart do iTunes. Gotye vai tocar no Sxsw e Coachella deste ano. Está no Top 40 da “Billboard” americana. No Brasil, na última sexta-feira, a gravadora Universal disparou para jornalistas o email “Gotye, a sensação mundial”, avisando que vai lançar o disco dele, “Making Mirrors” (o terceiro) em… março. Mas avisa que o disco já está virtualmente disponível nos “parceiros digitais”. Confira Gotye e Kimbra fazendo ao vivo a dobradinha da dor de cotovelo no programa do americano Jimmy Kimmel, de três dias atrás.
* Muita conversa na Inglaterra em torno da rede gigante de spuermercados Morrisons, que na parte infantil está vendendo um macacão para bebês com uma daquelas frases engraçadas. Estreia nos cinemas do Reino Unido nesta semana o filme “The Woman in Black”, que estão dizendo ser o melhor e mais apavorante filme de terror desde “O Exorcista”. Exagero inglês ou não, o jornalzaço “The Observer”, de hoje, veio com um especial de oito páginas em papel especial só para o filme. É de fazer o seriado “American Horror Story” parecer conto-de-fada. O melhor é o ator de “The Woman in Black”. O harrypotter Daniel Radcliffe, o primeiro filme pós-Potter dele. Os metrôs londrinos estão cheio de cartazes do filme. E aquelas recomendações dos críticos são as recomendações dos críticos que vêm no topo do pôster: “Não assista este filme sozinho”; “Mesmo depois de o filme acabar, vai demorar para você parar de tremer”. Nice.
* Ontem, aqui em Glasgow, fui ver ao vivo o show da banda nova americana Howler, de Minneapolis, da qual eu tanto falo. Foi a-bs-u-rd-o. Em um dos próximos posts eu conto e mostro como foi. A apresentação foi no King Tut’s. Sabe qual? Deixo só uma foto aqui, por enquanto.
