Seu nome real é Phillipa Brown, é guitarrista também, já teve banda com os caras do Empire of the Sun e, solo, foi ''rainha indie'' na Inglaterra em 2008, quando estourou por lá seu disco homônimo, que tinha as lindas ''Paris Is Burning'' e ''Back of the Van''.

Depois de um tempo sumidinha, Ladyhawke volta ao assunto agora em 2012, anunciando que no final de maio lança seu disco novo, ''Anxiety''. Um single deste disco foi lançado na Inglaterra agora em fevereiro. É a bacanuda ''Black White & Blue'', delícia, que já está massacrada nas rádios britânicas e até na americana SiriusXM U, que eu voltei a ouvir 🙂

No final do ano passado, nuns showzinhos especiais em Londres, ela entregou ''Vaccine'', outra nova que estará em ''Anxiety''.
