Ei, Jane, aonde você vai? – A volta do Spiritualized

* Foi mal, Jason Pierce. Estou devendo para mim mesmo um post sobre o Spiritualized desde a primeira vez que eu ouvi a linda ''Hey Jane'' na época do South by Southwest, com a locutora da rádio indie de Austin quase indo às lágrimas de emoção. ''Hey Jane'', que já tem vídeo circulando faz alguns dias, vai estar no sétimo álbum da banda britânica, a ser lançado daqui a duas semanas. O disco chama ''Sweet Heart Sweet Light'' e já dá para ser ouvido inteiro, se você tiver paciência de caçar as músicas soltas (não vi um link do álbum vazado, ainda).
Não tem uma música ruim até agora: ''So Long You Pretty Thing'', a tal ''Hey Jane'' é uma drug-space-ópera de quase 9 minutos típica de Pierce, ''Little Girl'', ''Get What You Want'', ''Mary'',… É tudo pesadão e lindo. Torturante para Pierce, parece, e para variar. ''I wish I was dead'' ele fala em ''Little Girl'', para no fim do álbum pedir para Jesus ajudá-lo, porque ele não aguenta mais. Pierce está de volta.
Abaixo tem o vídeo de ''Hey Jane'' e uma performance do Spiritualized no famoso estúdio Maida Vale, da BBC, cantando ''Little Girl''.
E, aqui, quase uma hora de apresentação e entrevista de Jason Pierce e banda num programa daquela rede irlandesa de vídeos ''on demand'' RTE. O apresentador introduz a banda e dá o recado: ''É hora de vocês serem 'spiritualized' ''.
