At the Drive In: 10 anos em 40 minutos

Foram cerca de 40 minutos, mas a intensidade foi de 80. Um dos grupos mais aguardados do Coachella Festival, o At the Drive In voltou aos palcos após um hiato que durou mais de uma década.

Banda importante do punk e post-hardcore dos anos 90, a turma liderada pela dupla Cedric Bixler-Zavala e Omar Rodriguez-Lopez foi escalada no palco principal, em um dos melhores horários da programação, tamanha era a ansiedade pelo retorno do grupo.

Toda a insanidade de Cedric ainda permanece viva no palco. Ele fala coisas sem nexo a todo momento, vai na galera, volta para o palco, pula, corre, cospe para todos os lados e mantém acesa a energia da banda. Ou como relatou o NY Times, “eles ainda não parecem confortáveis, mas continuam funcionando”.
