I am the resurrection: A volta do Stone Roses

Uns 80% do público presente no Razzmatazz era de tiozinhos britânicos com mais de 40 anos. Assim que o Stone Roses entrou no palco, esses tiozinhos, automaticamente, voltaram a ter 20, 15 anos de idade (eles pulavam como se tivessem joelhos de adolescentes).

Eu estava quase na grade e fui jogado para o meio do clube (um lugar um pouco maior que o Cine Joia em capacidade) assim que ''I Wanna Be Adored'' começou. Única vez em que algo assim havia acontecido comigo (sou grande, é difícil me empurrar) foi naquele famoso concerto do Franz Ferdinand no Circo Voador.

Aí, o de sempre em show com público majoritariamente britânico: gritaria, choro e abraços coletivos, mosh em músicas que eu nunca imaginei que serviriam para isso e uma garota mostrando os peitos para a banda em ''Waterfall''.

Deu pra ver que os Stone Roses ensaiaram para a grande volta. A banda está em sintonia. É bem difícil desgrudar os olhos do Mani: o baixo dele está mais colorido do que nunca. ''She Bangs the Drums'', um pouco mais lenta ao vivo, é show particular dele.

A voz do Ian Brown não é a mesma, mas me pergunto se alguém quer ver os Stone Roses hoje em dia para ouvi-lo. O importante e o mais bacana ali é notar que a presença de palco do cara é inspiração clara para um monte de vocalista do britpop. A marra do Liam Gallagher parece toda chupada dele.

Liam, aliás, estava lá no Razzmatazz, vendo o show da mesa de som, no fundo da pista (junto com Andy Bell). Ian apontou pra ele durante o show e isso foi o suficiente para que a casa inteira puxasse um coro de ''Liam, Liam, Liam!'' (no começo do show fizeram o mesmo para o Mani).

No bis – ''I am the Resurrection'', versão um pouco mais longa que em disco -, colei lá para vê-lo de perto. Ele parecia tão feliz e realizado quanto as outras 1800 pessoas que transformaram o local numa sauna.
