* O grupo ativista PETA, defensor dos animais e que tem mais de 2 milhões de seguidores no mundo todo, transformou um cartaz famoso das últimas turnês do músico inglês Morrissey, em uma peça publicitária.
A foto é uma das séries em que o ex-Smiths aparece com gatos, em especial uma em que Morrissey está com um bichano na cabeça. Gênio.

A campanha do PETA visa conscientizar as pessoas a castrarem seus animais domésticos, evitar ninhadas desnecessárias e brecar a superpopulação de bichos abandonados. Eis o cartaz.

Daí que, meio palhaçada e meio útil para a campanha ''pegar'', o semanário inglês ''New Music Express'' incentivou a galera twitteira a fazer correlações de gatos e a obra musical de Morrissey, através do #morrisseycat. E lá no Twitter o negócio bombou. E saiu coisas do tipo ''How Soon Is Meow'', ''Catful Of Hollow'' e, atenção, ''Take Meowt Tonight''.
