Hein? Ringo Deathstarr no Brasil

* A cena indie do indie vai muito bem, obrigado. Não é só grupos ''mainstream'' como o Tame Impala (hehe) que têm shows garantidos por aqui. Ontem a gente falou da vinda de Telescopes, Gallon Drunk e do cantor do Swervedriver, que eu poderia jurar que nunca ia ver por aqui. Agora também saudamos a vinda do especialíssimo Ringo Deathstarr, trio noise da pervertida Austin, Texas. Vi uma vez a banda em ação na casa deles, no festival South by Southwest, acho que do ano passado ou anterior. Depois da apresentação deles e do J.Mascis na mesma edição, juro que voltei para o Brasil com metade da audição que eu tinha. Dano permanente.
Mas há lirismo por baixo da mybloodyvalentização do som do Ringo Deathstarr.

O grupo texano se apresenta em São Paulo no Popfest, festival novo que acontece no novo Espaço Cultural Walden, na Praça da República, 119. Esse lugar eu não conheço (ainda).
Total ''new order''.
O Popfest acontece de 24 a 26 de agosto e vai ser recheado de bandas nacionais como Pale Sunday, Magic Crayon, Inverness e The Concept, além da argentina Hacia dos Veranos, que toca antes da texana no domingo, dia 26.

Depois o Ringo Deathstarr, que andou excursionando há alguns meses com o Smashing Pumpkins, se apresenta em Curitiba, no Jokers, dia 28 (com abertura da incrível Subburbia), no Rio de Janeiro, na Audio Rebel, e volta para SP para fechar a turnê brasileira com apresentação dia 1/9 na Lega Italica, na Libertade.

Se liga: os primeiro e segundo lotes de ingressos para o Popfest estão esgotados. O terceiro lote começa a ser vendido logo mais, às 14h. Preços e demais info estão aqui.
