Freak show. No próximo dia 4 de setembro, chega às lojas “Centipede Hz”, novo e viajado álbum do Animal Collective. Mas a espera vai ser menor, já que o disco será disponibilizado na íntegra, em streaming, no próximo domingo, através do site oficial do grupo.

“Centipede Hz” chega todo misterioso pelo climão bizarro que toma conta das primeiras amostras sonoras do álbum. O primeiro single, “Today’s Supernatural”, ganhou um vídeo que mescla a ruindade dos clipes do Oasis com a vibe nonsense dos vídeos do Radiohead.

O vocalista Avey Tare aparece com um visual todo macabro enquanto um carro maluco rasga o deserto com uma espécie de dragão a bordo. Aí o dragão luta com dois braços voadores. Entendeu a trama? Nem eu. Quer dizer, é Animal Collective. Então está entendido.
