Uma das atrações imperdíveis entre os mais de 60 nomes do Lollapalooza Brasil ano que vem, a banda inglesa de indie dance Hot Chip fez um set especial para a BBC Radio 6, ontem, com uma apresentação especial no famoso estúdio Maida Vale.
O ano tem sido agitado para os ingleses. Em 2012 eles se envolveram, por exemplo, numa deliciosa turnê pelos Estados Unidos com Sleigh Bells e James Murphy discotecando, tocaram com o The Roots em programa de TV, fizeram a trilha do tênis de mesa para a Olimpíada, foram confirmados nos cruzeiros do Coachella na Jamaica e nas Bahamas para o fim do ano e participaram dos principais festivais de verão na Europa nos últimos meses. Tá bom, né?
Para a BBC, foram sete músicas no set, parte delas em divulgação para o álbum “In Our Heads”, lançado no meio do ano. A Popload separou a ótima “Night and Day”, naquele clima dance eletrônica orgânica, na medida.
