Chromatics está procurando por amor. Talvez no Brasil

* A deliciosa banda americana Chromatics, que um dia foi punk e hoje em dia faz disco-frufru climático e bem bacana, é uma banda velha com cara de nova. Estão há tempos para vir ao Brasil e parece que em breve vai rolar mesmo. A banda, que tem o vocal da incrível e quase sempre ruiva Ruth Radelet, lançou neste ano o bonzão ''Kill for Love'', em março, o seu quarto disco. Eles são da descolada Portland, Oregon, e são do selo disco Italians Do It Better, o que diz muita coisa sobre tudo.

Recentemente, o que até foi destaque aqui na Popload no começo do mês, eles foram a banda tocando para o desfile da Chanel em Paris, assinado pelo estilista bamba alemão Karl Lagerfeld, na semana de moda francesa. A Chanel lançava, entre outras coisas, a famosa e bizarra bolsa bambolê, que vai ser tendência na primavera-verão do hemisfério norte. Vai vendo.

O ''show'' do Chromatics em Paris, que nos vídeos do desfile aparecem só de costas e por poucos segundos, foi no Suntuoso Grand Palais. Entre as músicas tocadas está a pegajosa ''Looking for Love'', tecnopop disco enigmático que no original tem 17 minutos de duração e traz Ruth balbuciando ''I' still looking for love'' o tempo todo, porque é tudo o que a letra traz. Cool.

A versão editada de ''Looking for Love'' ganhou vídeo nas últimas horas, trazendo os bastidores da presença da banda no desfile do Lagerfeld. A música vai estar na próxima das renomadas coletâneas do Italians Do It Better.
