Neil Young lança novo disco e vai para o Twitter zoar o Bono e dizer que gosta de Jack White e Radiohead

Patrimônio histórico da música, o incrível Neil Young mostra que ainda tem muito gás mesmo beirando a casa dos 70 anos de idade. Na próxima semana, o canadense bota na praça o aguardado “Psychedelic Pill”, seu novo disco de estúdio com a lendária Crazy Horse. Este será o segundo lançamento de Neil este ano. Em junho, com a mesma banda, ele jogou no mercado o álbum “Americana”, que consiste basicamente em versões para clássicos das músicas regionais da América do Norte. A grande notícia além de todas essas grandes notícias é que a formação original da Crazy Horse se reuniu pela primeira vez em mais de 15 anos. Estão com Neil seus chapas Ralph Molina, Frank “Poncho” Sampedro e Billy Talbot.

Faltando uma semana para o lançamento físico de “Psychedelic Pill” – que terá uma versão Blu-ray incluindo vídeos para todas as canções em alta definição e outra que pode ser comprada pelo iTunes, em resolução menor – o cantor e guitarrista resolveu disponibilizar o disco na íntegra em seu site oficial. Para ouvir, é preciso baixar um plug-in específico e atualizar a página.


Para bombar a audição do álbum, Neil Young foi ao Twitter na tarde-noite de ontem para participar do #AskNeil, quando respondeu diversas perguntas dos fãs, desde as mais sérias às mais bizarras.

A que mais chamou a atenção foi quando um fã perguntou o que ele achava do Foster The People (atração de um evento beneficente dele no fim de semana passado), uma vez que o “Bono disse gostar”. Foi aí que Neil surpreendeu e deu uma zoada básica, respondendo: “Who is Bono?”. A respostinha besta, lógico, correu o mundo.

Neil zoou sobre trabalhar com Axl Rose, falou do fim do mundo, de onde vêm os bebês, como é ter fãs de diversas gerações, disse que gosta do Jack White, do Radiohead e que vai gravar alguma coisa com o Dave Grohl. Gênio.
