Mike Patton invade a terra do country e mostra novas músicas de sua banda alternativa

Uma das boas atrações “a conferir” no extenso line up do Lollapalooza Brasil 2013, o Tomahawk, banda que mistura metal e experimentalismos e é liderada pelo inconfundível Mike ''Faith No More'' Patton, começa a dar forma ao seu retorno ao mercado.

Sem lançar disco novo há seis anos, o grupo alternativo do Patton divulgou recentemente uma nova música (“Stone Letter”) e deu início à sua turnê mundial pelos Estados Unidos. Ele até deixou de lado o visual pai de santo.

No último sábado, a banda fez uma parada em Nashville, no tradicional clubinho Exit/In. A apresentação foi parar toda na internet. Dá para se ter uma noção do que vamos ver no Jockey Club em março do ano que vem. A Popload destaca a inédita ''Oddfellows'', que dá título ao novo álbum.

O Tomahawk vai lançar seu disco novo dia 29 de janeiro. “Oddfellows” foi gravado no estúdio do Dan Auerbach, uma das mentes brilhantes do Black Keys, outra atração Lolla. A formação atual do grupo conta também com Duane Denison, John Stainer e Trevor Dunn.
