POPLOAD GIG 2013. Festival traz em fevereiro o incrível GRIZZLY BEAR

A cultuada banda nova-iorquina Grizzly Bear é o primeiro nome anunciado para estrelar o Popload Gig em 2013, este festival ligado a um certo blog que começou em 2009 e vai para a sua 19ª, 20ª, ou 21ª edição. Perdemos a conta. E mais para 2013 pode ser divulgado nos próximos dias.

GRIZZLY BEAR NO POPLOAD GIG: O grupo do Brooklyn, que agora em setembro lançou o aclamado álbum ''Shields'', toca no dia 3 de fevereiro no Cine Joia, um domingão lindo. A banda tocará às 22h. Os ingressos vão estar a venda a qualquer momento no site do Cine Joia. A inteira custará R$ 180. Obviamente a meia sairá por R$ 90.
Um show de abertura ainda está para ser anunciado em breve.

O Grizzly Bear vive um fenômeno confuso na cena musical americana. ELES estão confusos. O GB é o suprassumo do que conhecemos por ''banda indie''. Eles são do Brooklyn, a meca indie. Praticamente inauguraram os porões da região de Williamsburg, a meca da meca indie. O especialíssimo Edward Droste, líder do grupo, gravou o disco de estreia, “Horn of Plenty”, em 2004, sem sair de seu quarto. E agora, depois desse lançamento do maravilhoso ''Shields'', passaram a lotar com antecipação de muitos dias o Radio City Music Hall em Nova York. Como assim?

Isso deu um nó na cabeça da banda. A revista ''New York'' do começo de outubro saiu com o Grizzly Bear na capa e uma pergunta que, meio traduzida na interpretação, pode ser algo do tipo: ''Nesta época de sucesso na internet, dá para uma banda indie estourar no mundo real a ponto de ganhar dinheiro?'', apontando que o líder da atual banda mais falada da América mora espremido num apartamentozinho do Brooklyn e alguns integrantes do grupo não tem nem seguro saúde.

Este velho-novo fenômeno indie cultuadíssimo vai estar no Popload Gig em fevereiro. Vai ser inacreditável ver a banda tocar coisas como essa ''A Simple Answer'', o próximo single do álbum deste ano. A canção, se pegar você emocionalmente desprevinido (a), pode levar ao choro copioso.

Ficam os avisos. Do show no Cine Joia e do estrago que ''A Simple Answer'' pode fazer.
