Popload no mar. Coachella no navio começa hoje

Motherf•ckin' Indies on a motherf•ckin' boat!

* Se essa p*rra não virar (olê…), começa hoje no trajeto o SS Coachella, versão Bahamas, a versão cruzeiro de um dos principais festivais do mundo em terra firme. Primeira iniciativa do maior festival americano em outra ''plataforma'' que não o deserto da Califórnia. O embarque e a zarpada é no final da tarde de domingo e às 8 da noite, horário daqui, já tem o incrível Father John Misty (um dos álbuns do ano, um dos shows do ano) tocando ao vivo.

O line-up é incrível. Neste domingo tocam FJM, Grimes, Pulp, Black Lips, Cloud Nothings, Gaslamp Killers e !!!. A balada à bordo vai até quarta de manhã. Na terça, para ter uma ideia, rola a seguinte sequência: Warpaint, Simian Mobile Disco, Hot Chip, Rapture (DJ set) e Girl Talk. O grande James Murphy, Sleigh Bells, Yeasayer, Jason Bentley e DJ Harvey são outros nomes que estão na programação. Algumas bandas/artistas tocam duas vezes no cruzeiro. A programação geral está aqui.

A parada é intensa. Durante o dia, tirando piscina, clubinho non-stop e tals, a programação inclui, entre outras coisas, as seguintes ''atividades'':

* Degustação de vinhos com James Murphy. Parece que o cara é ''oenophile''.
* Um famoso DJ de rádio cool de Los Angeles (KCRW) vai moderar uma conversa com organizadores do Coachella, para ele falarem como botam de pé um festival daquele tamanho em terra e como ele veio parar na água. Bom para o nosso momento ''país dos festivais x crises'' e tal, talvez.
* Vire DJ ao vivo tocando no Coachella. Vão ter cursos rápidos para DJ no deck do navio, tocando na real com ''instrutor'' famoso (de banda) e ganhando um poster do Coachella com o nome no line-up. Afinal, você tocou no festival.
* Sessão de Midnight Movies. ''Ghost Ship'' vai passar nas Bahamas, haha. Apresentado pelo Girl Talk.
* Leitura de peças literárias com o J. Tillman, do Father John Misty.
* Sessão matinal de drinks Bloody Mary feitos pelas meninas do Warpaint. Matinal.
* Parece que a bombshell indie Alexis Sleigh Bells vai ensinar alguma coisa sobre pintar unhas, não entendi direito.

Enfim. Depois conto melhor essas histórias. Se é que vai dar para fugir da regra básica do ''o que acontece no navio, fica no navio''.
