O DJ e produtor americano Diplo, padrinho gringo do funk carioca, tio do Bonde do Rolê, dono do selo-balada-agito Mad Decent, mano do hip hop americano, queridinho do indie-electro e com um pé no reggae, vai lançar em fevereiro seu novo disco com o ótimo Major Lazer, atração Lollapalooza Brasil 2013.

“Free The Universe” chega ao mercado dia 19 de fevereiro, via Mad Decent (selo do Diplo, veja bem) e conta com diversas participações especiais.

Amber Coffman (Dirty Projectors), Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), Wyclef Jean, Bruno Mars, Tyga, Flux Pavilion, Shaggy, Winter Gordon e Dev são os amigos-convidados para a festa sonora que vai ser esse álbum.

E é esse clima de festa que o vídeo para o novo single, “Jah No Partial”, tenta transmitir em imagens do Diplo & friends na estrada, em registros feitos em alguns dos principais festivais de música do mundo. “Jah No Partial” é meio dubstep, meio reggae, mas é ba-la-da. Galera insana ao redor do mundo pirando no Diplo, também conhecido como o CARA. Vem, Lolla.
