Friends e Flight Facilities tocam em São Paulo dia 27 de janeiro

O lugar ainda vai ser divulgado. Não está definido também se a festa terá venda de ingressos, será na base de promoção no Facebook do festival ou vai ser um evento fechado.

O Flight Facilities (foto acima) é da boa safra australiana de som electroindie, que deu ao pop recentemente do Cut Copy ao Tame Impala e montaram uma forte conexão Londres-Paris-Sydney de electro. O FF (não confundir com Foo Fighters, Friendly Fires, Fiery Furnaces e Fleet Foxes) é formado por um duo ''misterioso'' de Sydney. Já ouviu ''Crave You'', sonzinho cool que lembra Stereolab e já tem até remix dubstep?

O Friends é do Brooklyn, Nova York. Meio caminho andado para ser bom. É a banda da fofa Samantha Urbani, que canta dando gritinho tipo Glass Candy, quando não está sussurrando. Bombaram bem no final de 2011 e os ingleses amam eles. ''Friend Crush'' é uma delícia. Mas acho que a mais famosa deles é ''I'm His Girl''. Aqui tem a Samantha crowdsurfing enquanto canta o hit deles no Reading Festival do ano passado.

O Meca Festival acontece no dia 26 de janeiro na praia de Xangri-la, perto de Atlantida, a mais ou menos 1 hora e meia de Porto Alegre. Não é exatamente na praia, mas num hotel-fazenda lindo, com um lago enorme atrás do palco principal. Além das duas bandas que enviarão a São Paulo, a edição deste ano do festival terá Citizens!, Dragonette, Zulu Winter, Holger, Database, Tess e o incrível grupo indie gaúcho Dis Moi. Viagem a Meca para o festival, ''nosso Benicassim'', é altamente recomendada.
