Popload aposta no Daft Punk. Na bolsa de valores

Só melhora. Os burburinhos em torno do disco novo do Daft Punk, “Random Access Memories”, e a volta do duo aos palcos só crescem a cada dia que passa, mesmo que eles não digam nada de forma oficial. Tudo na base do achismo, do hype, do marketing, da tendência e, quem sabe, em cima de verdades que serão confirmadas a qualquer momento.

A última da vez é que a casa de apostas irlandesa Paddy Power abriu cases relacionados ao retorno do Daft Punk. A marca é a maior provedora de serviços de jogo online na Irlanda e um provedor líder de serviços de jogos online no Reino Unido. Sua ações estão listadas na Bolsa da Irlanda e Bolsa de Valores de Londres. As apostas em torno do futuro da vida artística de Thomas Bangalter e Guy Manuel de Homem Christo são variadas. Nas apostas, 2/11 indicam que o disco será o mais vendido do ano. 7/1 de que “Random Access Memories” vai alcançar o topo das paradas. 1/5 que venderá mais que o disco do David Bowie na primeira semana.

Mas a aposta que chama mais a atenção está relacionada a uma suposta aparição surpresa do duo no Glastonbury deste ano. Isso porque o festival tem em seu line up só os Rolling Stones, Arctic Monkeys e outras 600 bandas. De acordo com as projeções, a Paddy Power paga 3/1 em uma apresentação surpresa do Daft Punk na Pyramid Stage do Glastonbury. Daft Punk, Pyramid Stage… entendeu?

Enquanto os franceses não acenam para seu retorno aos palcos, foi confirmado que na madrugada de hoje para amanhã, 1h, o duo vai soltar oficialmente sua esperada “Get Lucky”. Algo me diz que é sim aquela versão que a Popload divulgou ontem, que foi amplamente repercutida. Cheguei a ver uma galera em um escritório discutindo se a música é real, falsa, se o Lucio Ribeiro está fazendo isso só para criar um buzz. Haha.

Só sei que vou apostar uma graninha em um show deles no Glastonbury. É sério…
