Ultra Music Festival anuncia New Order, Diplo, Death From Above 1979 (e muito mais), além de bagunça em clubinhos de São Paulo

* Pelo jeito, 2011 não quer acabar. Se você pensou que já haviam sido anunciados todos os shows possíveis no Brasil ainda para este ano, se liga no Ultra Music Festival.

Big evento de música eletrônica baseado em Miami, o UMF terá sua primeira edição brasileira de fato, dia 3 de dezembro no Anhembi, em São Paulo. Uma edição de “teste” foi feita ano passado, tendo Moby como atração principal, só para mapear a cidade e ver quais caminhos deveriam ser tomados para a edição 2011.

A organização – que em anos anteriores foi responsável pelo Skol Beats no Brasil – já havia anunciado a bagunça techno-funk-dancehall Major Lazer, os gigantes (na Inglaterra) Swedish House Mafia e o dance-punk canadense MSTRKRFT.

Como a Popload apurou, Soulwax e 2ManyDJs eram dois dos nomes que já estavam para ser confirmados na manhã de hoje, em coletiva realizada na capital paulista. Além deles, o UMF chega forte com Diplo (com Major Lazer) e Death From Above 1979 (com o MSTRKRFT).

A atração principal do evento será o NEW ORDER.

Ao todo, serão 22 atrações nacionais e internacionais divididas em dois palcos: Ultra Stage (principal) e Ultra Arena. Estão previstas 80 horas de música. Para o Anhembi, são esperadas 30 mil pessoas. Confira o line up:

Outra grande novidade do festival é a realização de uma série de shows em clubinhos de São Paulo, na semana que antecede o evento do Anhembi. A idéia é transformar a cidade na sede da “club culture mundial”, segundo os produtores. Estão listadas as casas D.EDGE, Hot Hot, Clash Club, Studio SP, Lions, Ballroom, Disco e Sirena.

As festas do Ultra nos clubes, batizada de Ultra Week, NÃO TERÃO as bandas do festival, que fique bem claro. A programação destas festas fica por conta das casas e pode ter atrações internacionais, mas não necessariamente. Tipo: New Order no Clash, 2ManyDJs no Lions não vão rolar.

Os ingressos para o UMF no Anhembi já estão sendo vendidos em cota promocional: R$ 150 (feminino) e R$ 180 (masculino), pelo site da Live Pass ou nos pontos de venda listados aqui.

* NEW ORDER – A organização do UMF informa que Peter Hook NÃO VEM ao festival. Como vem sendo destacado pela mídia inglesa, o baixista disse que vai prejudicar o New Order a qualquer custo depois que Bernard Sumner e Stephen Morris anunciaram que irão fazer dois shows beneficentes este ano, e que também marca a volta de Gillian Gilbert depois de 10 anos.     I'll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod.     The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.
