Não são apenas os tais “Nevermind” e “Screamadelica” que resumem a loucura pop que foi o ano de 1991.

“Achtung Baby”, obra de destaque da carreira de três décadas do U2, também foi lançado naquele ano, no mês de novembro. Ou seja, no próximo mês, Bono & Cia. comemoram 20 anos do lançamento da obra prima.

De olho na data, a revista inglesa Q, que também vai comemorar 25 anos agora em novembro, bota amanhã nas bancas uma edição comemorativa da publicação e dos 20 anos do álbum.

Além de diversas matérias e entrevistas com os integrantes do U2, a Q compilou o disco “AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered”, uma edição que revisita o álbum da banda irlandesa com versões de gente de pso como Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Snow Patrol, Killer, Jack White, Patti Smith e outros.

Na tarde de hoje, a Popload vai destacar algumas destas faixas do álbum tributo. Começamos aqui com “Until The End Of The World”, em versão arrastada na voz marcante de Patti Smith. Ouve só o resultado.
