Estudos Popload: como o mundo cresceu o olho no SKRILLEX (via Google)

O gráfico abaixo mostra o 'objeto de estudo' SKRILLEX pela ótica do Google, ou seja, pela ótica do mundo, basicamente. Foi em 2007 que o Skrillex largou a sua bandinha emo-gótica e (re)apareceu com o nome que conhecemos hoje, mas até 2010 ninguém precisava procurar isso no Google, aparentemente. 2010. Parece que estamos falando de uns cinco anos, mas estamos falando de UM ano e meio de tráfego. Essa foi a vidinha real do Skrillex de maio de 2010 até novembro de 2011, analisada via vidinha virtual do Google:

Percebam que até setembro de 2010, provavelmente só o próprio Skrillex e a mãe dele citavam esse nome na internet. Até que… vieram o SxSw, o Coachella, os posts nos blogs, as resenhas do Guardian, a NME, a capa da SPIN, a Popload e blabla. E alguns MESES depois, as CINCO indicações ao Grammy. Simples assim.

Os dados do gráfico são analisados de acordo com a busca por aquele termo no Google, por um período de tempo determinado. Usando o Google Insights, chegamos a esse outro gráfico aqui:
