Música nova do Maccabees “eleva” as pessoas

* Hoje em Amsterdam é retomada a tour que o grupo inglês Maccabees faz para divulgar seu novo disco delicinha, o terceiro, ''Given to the Wild''. Depois eles encaram a primeira das duas grandes turnês britânicas deste ano, com Japão, Austrália, EUA e talvez uns outros lugares no meio.

O álbum novo do Maccabees é o que mais vendeu na relativamente curta carreira da banda e está dando um outro status ao grupo meio de Londres, meio de Brighton. O novo single de ''Given to the Wild'', a ótima ''Feel to Follow'', saiu recentemente em vídeo, embora o disquinho chegue às lojas oficialmente só no começo de março.

''Feel to Follow'', incrível, já toca sem parar em qualquer dos programas da Radio One. A música começa alegre, no batuquinho, mas depois entra a guitarra desesperante que marca o Maccabees e dá o tom sombrio que a banda faz questão de carregar. O vídeo é doido: tem cachorros, crianças, pessoas levitando. Não pode ser ruim.
