Banda 3VOL: quando o indie enfrenta o sertanejo

Uma delas, Araguari, no alto do Triângulo Mineiro, ''asinha'' do Estado que é espremida entre Mato Grosso e São Paulo, é, por um milagre, uma cidade… rock'n'roll. Dizem que Jesus & Mary Chain e Pavement, lá, têm mais fãs que música sertaneja e pagode. Uma das explicações, segundo apurados estudos científicos, é porque num passado não muito distante Araguari foi a primeira cidade do Brasil a ter TV a cabo, graças a um experimento do governo.

Daí que Araguari tem uma banda emergente chamada 3VOL (fala-se ''evol''), o quarteto acima que tem uma garota guitarrista e vocalista, Yolanda Lemos. O grupo acaba de lançar seu primeiro EP, ''Reaching Stars''. E, segundo informes da cena local, é só a ponta de um iceberg indie que está balançando a região com esse som mais, digamos, ''diferente''
