LCD Soundsystem + Hot Chip = New Build. Mais do Sxsw.

* O finado LCD Soundsystem, grupo americano morto por James Murphy no ano passado, originou uma nova banda, em combinação com os ''primos'' do Hot Chip, da Inglaterra. Apareceu em cena no final do ano passado o New Buid, grupo que tem o ''programador'' Felix Martin do HC, o guitarrista Al Doyle, que tocava tanto no HC como no LCD S., o engenheiro eletrônico de eletrônica (veja bem) Tom Hopkins e participações mais que especiais do figura Pat Mahoney, baterista, o principal parceiro de Murphy no LCD Soundsystem.

O New Build acaba de lançar seu primeiro álbum neste mês na Inglaterra, ''Yesterday Was Live and Lost''. O disco sai em abril nos EUA. Semana passada, a banda fez dois shows esgotados em Nova York, depois escorregou para o Texas, para aproveitar a barca do South by Southwest. Teve um papo de que eles não iam estrear o projeto no festival texano, megablaster vitrine, porque acharam que ''não era hora''. Mas óbvio, a hora deles é agora, perceberam.

Ontem o New Build tocou em Amsterdã, o primeiro show na Europa, tirando uns experimentais no Reino Unido e estes dois de Nova York. Hoje é Bruxelas. .

Abaixo tem trecho da apresentação deles no Sxsw, sexta passada. E também o vídeo de ''Do You Not Feel Loved?'', o delicioso segundo disco, já bastante remixada por aí, que foi lançado agora em março.
