Lá vem a Beth. Gossip ao vivo ontem em NYC

* Dia 22 de maio vai ser doravante lembrado no mundo indie como o Dia Gossip, se depender da vontade da nossa amiga Beth Ditto. A diva indie disco escolheu o dia de ontem para marcar a grande volta de sua banda. Em Nova York, Beth e amigos lançaram o disco novo, ''A Joyful Noise'', com várias ações. Beth ela mesmo levou umas pacoteiras do disco novo para as lojas do Brooklyn, durante a manhã. À tarde, fez um show-preview para amigas lésbicas no apartamento gigante de uma delas, só para mulheres. À noite, em Manhattan, mostrou o show novo com uma apresentação no Terminal 5, concerto que foi transmitido ao vivo pela internet. Ontem ainda o Gossip lançou um vídeo novo na MTV americana, para o segundo single do disco, para ''Move in the Right Direction''. O primeiro foi ''Perfect World'', que circula desde março. Pelo que eu ouvi do novo álbum, o som está mais para disco (explorando a voz de diva) do que para punk. O equilíbrio das duas coisas sempre foram as marcas do Gossip. Mas, ao vivo, pelo pouco que eu vi de ontem à noite, o bicho pega.

Segura a Beth agora, quero ver.

* E, enquanto o vídeo novo não é liberado, a gente posta o Gossip mostrando ''Move in the Right Direction'' num programa de TV.
