Planeta Terra Festival: é hoje? Sem brinquedos desta vez, mas com grama, Kings of Leon, Garbage, M83 e…

* Parece que hoje, ou no mais tardar até esta próxima sexta-feira, o Planeta Terra Festival anuncia sua escalação total e já bota para vender os ingressos para a edição 2012 do maior evento indie brasileiro.

Uma nova data vai ser anunciada. O Planeta Terra está mesmo confirmado para o dia 20 de outubro. O local, também a ser revelado oficialmente pela primeira vez, deve ser o Jockey Club, lugar resgatado para shows grandes pelo Lollapalooza no começo do ano. O PT vai perder os brinquedos do Playcenter desta vez. Mas vai ganhar o visual urbano, o gramado e será feito para um público maior. Parece que 30 mil pessoas serão esperadas para a edição deste ano, diferentemente dos 18 mil no máximo que cabiam no Playcenter.

Anthony Gonzalez, o cara multinacional por trás do bombado projeto M83. Vem para o Planeta Terra?

Sobre o que interessa, as atrações. Nomes que sambam em um bastidor fechadíssimo que inclui Peru e Colômbia, revelam as seguintes bandas que podem aparecer na escalação, numa ordem aproximada das mais fortes em ''falação'' para as mais fracas.

KINGS OF LEON, GOSSIP, M83, GOTYE, GARBAGE, THE HIVES, KASABIAN.

    Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

    The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.
