* No caso eu mesmo, haha. Estava fazendo uma caminhada no domingo de manhã e ouvindo minha segunda rádio predileta no mundo, a SiriusXM U, americana, satélite, paga. Faz alguns dias a emissora está num momento bombação de sua session com a banda The Walkmen, uma das formações indies mais bacanas e bem vestidas da história recente do som underground americano. Guitarrinhas e sentimento exacerbado é a química do Walkmen.

Enfim, aí num momento meu de sol, árvores e cachorros de Higienópolis a SiriusXM U tocou ''Heaven'', de performance exclusiva do Walkmen para a rádio feita em junho em seu estúdio e felizmente ''massacrada'' nestes dias na emissora como uma ''session de trabalho'', haha. ''Heaven'' é a faixa-título do mais recente disco do grupo do emotivo Hamilton Leithausen, lançado no finalzinho de maio. O Pitchfork, quando o álbum saiu, deu nota 8.1 para ele. A Popload deu 8.2.

No estúdio da satélica ''U'', a incrível ''Heaven'' ficou assim:

Por enquanto tem só o áudio. Daqui a pouco eles liberam o vídeo.

O Walkmen lançou agora em julho o vídeo para ''The Love You Love'', outra do disco novo. Por baixo da música linda de morrer, tem um vídeo de indie-terror, haha, com um molequinho bizarro e gatos da Urban Outfiters flutuantes. Essa banda é demais.

O Walkmen está no meio de uma turnê extensa pelos EUA até novembro, com umas escapadas para tocar na Europa. Amanhã eles tocam em Denver, no Colorado, a região mais comentada no mundo, hoje. A gente vai acompanhar as caminhadas ao vivo do Walkmen para de repente trazer algum momento dela por aqui.
