O perturbado Mike Patton está de volta mais metal do que nunca

Mike Patton livre, leve e beeeem soltinho durante show da última turnê do Tomahawk. No Lolla não vai ter logo censurando…

A banda de metal experimental (por que não?!) Tomahawk, uma das atrações do Lollapalooza 2013, prepara o lançamento de “Oddfellows”, primeiro disco de estúdio do grupo em seis anos, que será o quarto da carreira.

Para quem não está ligando o nome à banda, o Tomahawk é o grupo alternativo do transloucado Mike Patton, do Faith No More, e que é formado também por Duane Denison (Jesus Lizard), John Stainer (Battles) e Trevor Dunn (Fantômas).

Dizem, esse “Oddfellows” – que foi gravado no estúdio do Dan Auerbach, do Black Keys – vai ser o trabalho mais mistureba e experimental do grupo. A primeira amostra é “Stone Letter”, single que chega às lojas no Record Store Day americano, dia 23 de novembro, em formato vinil. Duas semanas depois estará à venda em formato digital. E em março poderá ser conferido ao vivo no Jockey Club de São Paulo.
