The Drums ontem no Peru: o melhor show do Planeta Terra sábado que vem?

* Espécie de Beatles no Peru por algum motivo, a banda indie nova-iorquina The Drums tocou solo ontem à noite em Lima para um público que gritava sem parar, lotou o Centro de Convenciones Scencia e abafava o vocalista Jonathan Pierce ao cantar todas as letras junto dele. Durante os dois dias que o grupo esteve na cidade, foi um tal de descobrir o hotel onde eles estavam hospedados, fazer página especial para eles no Facebook e tal.

O Drums periga ser o melhor show do Planeta Terra sábado, aqui em São Paulo. Será a volta da banda ao Brasil. Pierce e sua dancinha-Morrissey-época-Smiths quebrada já passaram por palcos paulistanos, em 2011, quando tocaram no Estúdio Emme, em Pinheiros.

Lá em Lima disseram que foi o mais longo set já tocado pela banda. Teve umas 20 músicas, bem mais que a média das apresentações da banda, entre 12 e 14. Empolgação.

Sente o drama da adoração peruana para cima do Drums neste vídeo tosqueira da entrada no palco e da primeira música da noite.

O Drums, no Planeta Terra, toca às 20h45 no Palco Indie, depois da Azealia Banks e antes do Gossip. Lugarzinho bom para ficar.
