Garbage, Gossip, Best Coast e The Maccabees deram uma prévia em terras argentinas dos shows que farão por aqui. A imprensa de lá destaca que a noite foi das mulheres. Shirley Manson, Beth Ditto e Bethany Cosentino, cada uma ao seu modo, roubaram a cena.

A “pequena” Bethany Cosentino encantou o público com sua “timidez e doçura”. A Rolling Stone local destacou os extremos bipolares da sensibilidade do rock retrô e lo-fi da banda, passando pela surf music e apontou como pontos altos do show músicas como “Let’s Go Home”, do recente segundo disco, e “Boyfriend”, primeiro hit do duo da Califórnia.

A diva Beth Ditto foi o furacão de sempre. Chegou esbanjando simpatia e logo no início pediu desculpas pelos cancelamentos anteriores (haha). Disse que amava o público argentino, conhecido como “o melhor do mundo”. Que tocaria todos os covers do Kasabian e que o show seria uma festa. Entre as músicas, tentou se comunicar com o público com palavras em espanhol forçado misturado com o inglês. “Salud, bitches”, por exemplo. O show do Gossip foi super elogiado, especialmente pela segurança que a voz de Ditto passa para a apresentação.

Mais veterena e não menos musa, Shirley Manson se encarregou de fechar a noite com o Garbage. Atração principal de ontem, a turnê mundial do grupo está a pleno vapor. Cheia de gás, a banda não se reunia para shows fazia um bom tempo. Na primeira metade do show, o grupo emendou hit atrás de hit. ''Supervixen'', ''I Think I'm Paranoid'' , ''Queer'' e ''Stupid Girl'' fizeram os argentinos relembrarem os anos 90. Faixas do recente disco “Not Your Kind Of People” também foram apresentadas. O Garbage fez questão de dar todo um clima dark para o show, desde a roupa da Shirley ao cenário do palco, já que colocaram cortinas negras sobre os telões e bolaram um jogo de luzes especial. Climão que vai invadir o Jockey amanhã. Só falta armar o mau tempo do domingo do Lolla deste ano…
