Bonde do Rolê leva Caetano para os indies da Califórnia

* Sensacional a participação da banda funk carioca paranaense paulista mineira Bonde do Rolê no estimado programa ''Morning Becomes Eclectic'', da radio californiana indie-cool KCRW, histórica rádio pública que é transmitida desde Santa Mônica, uma das cidades-bairros de LA. O Bonde apareceu de convidado na session que a dupla indie-disco americana Poolside estava fazendo na emissora.

O Poolside foi um dos muitos colaboradores do importantíssimo segundo disco do Bonde do Rolê, ''Tropical/Bacanal'', lançado em agosto/setembro. Na session no ''Morning Becomes Eclectic'', o duo chamou o trio brasileiro para executarem “Baby Don’t Deny It”, lambada que está no novo álbum do Bonde. A música, no disco, tem a participação de Caetano Veloso cantando. “Baby Don’t Deny It” é uma versão atualizada do Bonde para ''Baby Doll de Nylon, música de disco dos anos 80 do guitarrista Robertinho do Recife, da qual o compositor baiano fez a letra mas nunca havia cantado.

E, agora, super lambada-indie-disco ensolarada para gringo bronzeado mostrar seu valor, apareceu nos ares dos jovens californianos que ouvem a KCRW. E na internet, claro.

O Bonde do Rolê veste em shows e apresentações como essas seu uniforme: são as roupas criadas especialmente para a banda pelo badalado estilista mineiro João Pimenta, que botou alfaiataria em cima de toalhas de praia superestampadas, dessas populares das praias do Rio de Janeiro. Roupa-toalha tropical do Bonde do Rolê para gringo ver. Bonde é f*d*.
