O Natal dos indies. Estrelando Sufjan Stevens

** É lançado hoje nos EUA o álbum ''Silver & Gold: Songs for Christmas, Vols. 6-10'', uma caixa com cinco EPS, 58 músicas natalinas de autoria do grande Sufjan Stevens, inegavelmente um dos maiores loucos da música independente mundial. Para marcar o lançamento deste disco tão especial, Stevens vai percorrer 24 cidades americanas com a tour “The Sirfjam Stephanapolous Christmas Sing-A-Long Seasonal Affective Disorder Spectacular Music Pageant Variety Show Distaster'', também chamada de ''Christmas Sing-A-Long Tour''. Haha. A turnê vai rolar do dia 23 deste mês até acabar em Nova York com dois shows no Bowery Ballroom, perto do Natal.

Stevens, no final de outubro, na verdade já tinha soltado ao mundo a primeira música deste disco, em vídeo. Era para a canção singela ''Mr. Frosty Man''. Hoje, para comemorar o lançamento da caixa do Papai Noel, veio à luz o vídeo de''I'll Be Home for Christmas'', a faixa 41 do disco. Sente a magia:

*** Bem fofurinha essa canção natalina, ''Hang a String of Lights'', da Great Lake Swimmers, banda canadense de, hum,indie-folk melódico. A música vai fazer parte do álbum ''Isn't This World Enough: A Nettwerk Christmas'', coletânea da gravadora Nettwerk que sai às lojas no dia 20 de novembro e terá músicas natalinas de bandas como fun., Sixpence None The Richer e Hey Ocean!, entre outros. Aém desta do Great Lake Swimmers.
