A banda mais indie da história? A suave volta do Yo La Tengo

* A veterana e bem cultuada banda indie americana Yo La Tengo, de New Jersey, vai lançar seu décimo-terceiro disco agora em janeiro. Chama-se ''Fade'' e chega às lojas dia 15 de janeiro, nos EUA. O trio lançou uma música nova, que vai estar no álbum: ''Before We Run''. As novas notas musicais delicadas do Yo La Tengo caíram no meio do feriadão (nosso) e chacoalhou o mundo indie. Porque, você sabe, o Yo La Tengo, banda do grande Ira Kaplan, formada em 1984, é indie dos tempos em que o indie era indie. E sempre foi indie. E sempre vai ser.

A música nova, digamos, é bem Yo La Tengo. Nela, a baterista Georgia Hubley canta suave. Ela fez a letra e fez o vídeo colorido.

Pelo que eu conheço de produtores brasileiros, duvido que, se a banda for estender sua turnê em 2013, eles não venham ao Brasil no próximo ano. A banda já anunciou datas nos EUA em janeiro/fevereiro e na Europa em março.
