Yo La Tengo libera música inédita e bota uma árvore na capa do disco novo

Orgulho indie sair um terceiro post com notícia boa do Yo La Tengo em um mês. Depois de soltar o single “Before We Run” mês passado e organizar os shows especiais do Hanukkah, a veterana banda de New Jersey liberou mais um esforço sonoro que estará em “Fade”, décimo terceiro disco de carreira deles, que será lançado dia 15 de janeiro (mesma data do Christopher Owens e A$AP Rocky).

“Ohm” foi lançada em formado de teaser em um vídeo que tem como plano de fundo a capa do disco, uma árvore localizada no Overlook Park, em Portland. Diz o grande Ira Kaplan que a inspiração de colocar uma árvore na capa do disco veio de uma música dos Beach Boys – “A Day in the Life of a Tree” – que o próprio YLT já fez cover nos anos 90.

Adorei a ''Ohm''.
