Um dos grandes discos a sair em 2013, fácil dizer, vai ser o próximo do Queens of the Stone Age, ainda não batizado. Tirando que é um disco do Queens of the Stone Age, o que significa diversão roqueira garantida, o sexto trabalho de estúdio da banda de Josh Homme, o primeiro em cinco anos, terá Dave Grohl na bateria e participações que vão de Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails) a Nick Oliveri (Peladão no Brasil), entre outros. O disco novo por enquanto está programado para sair ''na primeira metade de 2013'', algo entre abril e meio de junho, portanto podendo chegar às lojas logo depois do show que o QOTSA fará no Brasil no finalzão de março, no Lollapalooza, quem sabe com um amigo nosso na bateria. Quem sabe? O Queens está sem baterista, mesmo…

O negócio é que ontem, de tanta expectativa que o próximo disco já causa na orbita da banda, Josh Homme soltou ontem um documentário-palhaçada, ou mockumentário, com entrevistas e tudo mais sobre o álbum que vem aí. Começa que é apresentado pelos palhações Steve Agee e o britânico Matt Berry (esse último o figuraça do Mighty Boosh, de voz incrível). O documentário zoado, ''Secrets of the Sound'', não chega a lugar nenhum, mas mostra os caras do Queens of the Stone Age em seu habitat, digamos assim. Tem também arrotos, Josh Homme exibindo sua camiseta do fã-club do Patrick Swayze e um cachorro arrastando seu traseiro no carpete do estúdio. Enfim…
