Toma rock: Mike Patton está de volta com o Tomahawk

Se tudo correr bem e São Paulo não receber suas costumeiras chuvas vespertinas, dia 30 de março teremos a incrível oportunidade de ver o insano-por-natureza Mr. Mike Patton em ação, fazendo um show sob o sol das 15h30 no Lollapalooza Brasil (já pensou?). Ele volta ao país desta vez com o seu pesado e experimental Tomahawk, banda que tem também em sua formação Duane Denison, John Stainer e Trevor Dunn.

O grupo se reuniu no ano passado para gravar um novo disco e sair em turnê mundial. “Oddfellows” é o primeiro álbum a ser lançado pela banda em mais de seis anos. O registro foi gravado no estúdio do Dan Auerbach, uma das mentes brilhantes do Black Keys.

“Oddefellows” será lançado na próxima terça-feira, 29, mas já está disponível para audição, em cortesia da revista Spin.

    Ainda não ouvi o disco novo, mas os dois primeiros discos do Tomahawk são excelentes... aliás, incrível como a banda é tão subestimada, mesmo tendo o surtado do Mike Patton no vocal. Vamos ver ao vivo - e o melhor é que não tem concorrência forte no horário dos caras no Lollapalooza!
