A quinta-feira foi de Dave Grohl no South by Southwest. Depois de seu “Keynote Speech” que chegou a emocionar, ele fechou o dia com o derradeiro (por agora) show do Sound City Players. Show especial, diga-se, pois Dave cumpriu a promessa que fez logo no início da apresentação, quando disse que a noite seria longa. Foram cerca de 3 horas e meia de show, quase 40 músicas no set, e convidados de peso como Rick Springfield, John Fogerty e Stevie Nicks.
Relatos de que o show foi punk, grunge, folk, rock, indie, tudo. Dave Grohl é gênio. A Popload destaca a versão lindaça de “Landslide”, clássica do Fleetwood Mac, apresentada pela Stevie Nicks (claro) e o Grohl no violão de 12 cordas. Maravilha.
