Mais MCA, dos Beastie Boys: as fotos do Terry Richardson, homenagens de Chili Peppers a Abba e o vídeo do Coldplay chegando ao 1.5 milhão de visitas

* Pencas de tributos em rádios, em shows, na TV americana (Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Fallon) e o vídeo do Coldplay no sábado, postado aqui na Popload mas que a gente repete abaixo, seguem como reação imediata do pop à lastimável perda ao câncer de Adam Yauch, 47 anos, dos seminais Beastie Boys, anunciada na sexta-feira.

* Homenagens ao vivo vão de ABBA à festa paulistana Party Intima, que tocou Beastie Boys três vezes na noite de sexta, se é que eu posso me lembrar da balada inteira.

Em Houston, Texas, o Social Distortion entrou no palco ao som de Beastie Boys. O Red Hot Chili Peppers a seu modo tocou por um minuto trecho de ''So What'cha Want'', toda suingada, em show em New Jersey. Ficou incrível. Gente de vertentes mais díspares, tipo a banda Pennywise e o DJ Diplo, também fizeram seus tributos.

O vídeo de Chris Martin, coxinha-mas-bacana, tocando em piano gentil a esporrenta ''Fight for Your Right (to Party)'', em show do Coldplay na última sexta à noite em Los Angeles, já está chegando rapidinho a 1.5 milhão de visitas em menos de três dias. Como eu disse no post, chega a ser gozado ver o bom-moço Martin cantando sobre chegar na mãe e pedir para não ir à aula, simplesmente porque não está a fim. É emocionante no fim do tributo, quando chega a parte da letra que diz, ainda em confronto com a mãe (pensa que é o Chris Martin ''narrando''), ela invade o quarto e grita ''Que barulho é este'. E a resposta ''Aw, mom you're just jealous it's the Beastie Boys!''. Nesta hora, a galera grita junto com Martin o ''Beastie Boys'', que não esperava, sorri e repete a frase. Aqui o vídeo, de novo:

* Ainda no oportunismo das homenagens, o famoso fotógrafo doidão Terry Richardson republicou em seu blog umas fotos que ele fez com os Beastie Boys, Adam Yauch obviamente no meio. São muito boas. E estão aqui embaixo. Assim como é da série de Richardson a imagem que abre este post.

* Por fim, o lance do Abba. Direto de Estocolmo, o ex-integrante Benny Andersson, que tem um estúdio na cidade Sueca, produziu este vídeo-homenagem ao saudoso integrante dos Beastie Boys. Acho que com esse vídeo está bem encerrado o capítulo ''tributo a MCA''. Ou não.
