O grande George Lewis Jr., melhor conhecido como Twin Shadow, fechou 2012 como um dos principais nomes do pop. Ele, um certo herói do indie-USA nascido na República Dominicana, absorvido pela “onda do Brooklyn”, também “acusado” de ressuscitar a new wave com umas letras emocionais e brutais, apareceu nas listas de “melhores do ano” em diversas publicações por aí, inclusive em uma da Popload, a de melhores músicas, com sua incrível “Five Seconds”.
Ano passado, ele lançou o ótimo “Confess”, seu segundo disco de estúdio, o que tem rendido uma extensa turnê mundial. Em maio, ele embarca para uma série de shows na América do Norte com SEU PAI, quando ambos vão contar histórias de suas vidas durante os shows. É a ''True Story Tour''.
No último final de semana, o cantor indie dominicano radicado americano se apresentou em um festival no México, o Nrmal, e tocou uma música nova chamada “End of the World”. Boa.
