O filme, prontinho desde o final do ano passado e que raramente é exibido e não sai logo em DVD, vai ser exibido uma ÚNICA VEZ em sessão única espalhada nos Estados Unidos na noite do dia 18 de julho. Até agora mais de 110 cinemas em pelo menos 100 cidades americanas passará o documentário, cujos ingressos já estão sendo vendidos.

Eu tive a FELICIDADE de ver o ''Shut Up and Play the Hits'' durante o South by Southwest deste ano, no Texas. Eu juro: é de chorar como um bebê algumas vezes, se é que o LCD Soundsystem é de alguma forma importante para sua vida. É de juntar seus amigos de balada e assistir junto.

O documentário  pode ganhar mais exibições nos EUA. Em seu site, fãs podem pedir para que sua cidade seja incluída no roteiro do filme. * ''Shut Up and Play the Hits'' teve produção da Oscilloscope Laboratories, uma empresa independentes de filmes que pertencia a Adam Yauch, o beastie boy morto não faz muito tempo. Yauch chegou a dizer que com o filme o LCD Soundsystem fez o ''final de banda'' mais digno da história.
