Major Lazer mostra o que é que a Jamaica tem

O ótimo Major Lazer, um dos mil projetos do Diplo, mas que deixou de ser exatamente um “duo” com a saída do Switch meses atrás, por causa de “divergências criativas”, lança o vídeo para “Get Free”, uma das amostras sonoras de “Free The Universe”, próximo disco do projeto, com lançamento previsto para 6 de novembro, via Mad Decent, gravadora do próprio Diplo, claro.

“Get Free” é mais quebrada e menos intensa que os sons anteriores do Major Lazer e, no vídeo, mostra todo o clima da Jamaica, onde o Major Lazer se estabeleceu para trabalhar o projeto. A faixa tem a participação de Amber Coffman, vocalista do Dirty Projectors, e já ganhou uma versão tecnobrega do nosso Bonde do Rolê.

Olha só o gueto jamaicano, na visão do Major Lazer.

* Além de Amber Coffman, participam do novo álbum do Major Lazer uma turminha da pesada que inclui Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), Wyclef Jean, Bruno Mars, Tyga, Flux Pavilion, Shaggy, Winter Gordon e Dev.
