Quinze anos depois… Soundgarden volta de vez e libera disco novo

Passaram-se 15 anos para o Soundgarden, um dos expoentes do grunge, soltar um novo trabalho. Seguindo essa onda “velharia” de bandas 80/90’s voltando à ativa, o grupo liderado por Chris Cornell coloca no mercado dia 12 de novembro “King Animal”, novo disco de estúdio.

Composto por 13 faixas inéditas, “King Animal” vai jogar a turma de Seattle para shows promocionais durante este mês na Alemanha, Inglaterra, Canadá e Estados Unidos. Na Inglaterra, o show acontecerá no tradicional Shepherd’s Bush Empire de Londres, na próxima sexta-feira. O Soundgarden foi o primeiro grupo a fazer um show no local, 18 anos atrás. Ontem, eles foram uma das atrações do programa do Jools Holland, onde mandaram o bom single “Been Away to Long”.

A banda era um dos nomes fortes para a edição 2012 do ecofestival SWU, mas no meio do caminho desistiu da ideia para lançar este álbum. Não veio o Soundgarden, não tem mais SWU, mas o álbum pode ser ouvido na íntegra.
