Festival indie-eletrônico gaúcho traz Citizens!, mas deve liberar só Friends e Flight Facilities para São Paulo

* O incrível MECA Festival, evento que chama os indies para a praia e já foi apelidado por ''alguém'' como o ''Benicassim brasileiro'' (sempre uso essa, haha), anunciou nesta semana sua programação de 2013, quando rolará sua terceira edição. O festival, que já teve Vampire Weekend e Two Door Cinema Club (2011) e Rapture e Mayer Hawthorne (2012), entre outros, acontece no dia 26 de janeiro num hotel-fazenda Pontal, numa região não por acaso chamada de Xangri-la, que fica a 10 minutos do centro da badalada praia de Atlântida e 1h20 de Porto Alegre. Atrás do palco principal do Meca tem o belo lago Pontal.

O MECA, repaginado para receber 6 mil pessoas, vai importar em 2013 um elenco de bandas menores que suas últimas edições, mas não menos deliciosas. São elas:
* Flight Facilities – duo australiano de disco, meio revival de dance anos 80, dupla amiga da galera do Tame Impala e que cravou em 2012 a fofa ''Crave You''
* Citizens! – Já que é para citar as turmas, essa banda aqui, de Londres, é produzida pelo Alex Kapranos. Inclusive se vestem e penteiam os cabelos como o Franz Ferdinand. Estão no cast do selo francês cool de indie-eletrônico Kitsuné e fizeram uma das músicas mais bacanas do ano, a ''True Romance''. Precisa de mais recomendações?
* Friends – Este quinteto, mais famosinho, são três-minas-dois caras do Brooklyn, NY. Precisa de mais recomendações?
* Dragonette – Banda canadense já ''rodada'' para os padrões indies, que lançou há pouco tempo o terceiro álbum, o agitado ''Bodyparts''.
* Zulu Winter – Banda ''certinha'' da nova safra já catalogada de ''pós-Vaccines'' do rock inglês. São adoradas pelo fanfarrão Zane Lowe, DJ da Radio One, e fazem a linha Duran Duran dramático, haha. Boa escolha.

O grupo inglês Citizens! vem ao Brasil para festival no Sul. São Paulo, só no aeroporto…

Dessas, o Friends e o Flight Facilities devem tocar em São Paulo apenas, em datas perto de 26/1. Os ''shows paulistanos'' do Meca vão ser anunciados no começo da semana que vem. Vamos acompanhar.

A parte brasileira do Meca também está por ser divulgada.

Para o evento em Shangri-la, parece que os ingressos estão à venda em Porto Alegre, tipo em lojas do Shopping Iguatemi e Barra Shopping Sul, e ainda na Complex, o bacanudo complexo pista/restaurante/loja/balada da capital gaúcho. A venda online deve ser anunciada no site do festival em breve.
