Começa o Primavera Sound, em Barcelona. Tem Wilco ao vivo, daqui a pouco

* Na verdade começou ontem. Mas pega fogo a partir de agora. E vai até domingo.

* Neste momento o veterano grupo americano Afghan Whigs está se apresentando no Primavera Sound, hoje um dos principais festivais do verão europeu, realizado anualmente em Barcelona, na Espanha. A Espanha tem há tempos três grandes festivais de verão. O primeiro é o Sónar, mais voltado à eletrônica independente, mas que neste ano tem New Order e Lana del Rey, por exemplo. O segundo é o de Benicassim, não tão longe assim de Barcelona, na praia e a caminho de Valência (na praia, não na areia).

O Primavera é o terceiro deles, fez seu nome em meados dos anos 2000 e virou gigante a partir de 2008. Hoje em dia é o que mais público atrai de todos os eventos espanhóis citados.

Com uma veia mais independente (para todos os gêneros), neste ano o Primavera traz The Cure, Bjork e Franz Ferdinand. Promove um dos primeiros shows da volta do XX. Escala os sempre bacanas Rapture, Rufus Wainwright, Wilco, Melvins, Spiritualized, The Drums, Mudhoney. E abre importante espaço ''europeu'' para importantes novos nomes norte-americanos, na linha Dirty Beaches, Father John Misty, Friends, Japandroids, Lower Dens, Real State etc.

O Primavera tem um vídeo bem simpático de apresentação do evento neste ano. E vai, via site oficial, ter transmitido até domingo mais de 20 shows de seu evento. A Popload tem uma brodagem forte no Primavera. Vamos ficar de olho neles para trazer as coisas aqui. Vamos ficar de olho em Barcelona bastante em junho.
